The Crappies are in full-blown spawn right now!
Catching fish from 3' to 25' around wood cover. Using mostly white jigs 1/16 oz to 1/8 oz.
My client, Richard Trowbridge, caught a 3 1/2 Lb Crappie on March 29th. Check out the pictures. Congrats Richard, that's the biggest Crappie to ever come in my boat!
The Bass are mostly prespawn. Carolina rigged pumpkin chartreuse lizards will catch 'em. Points and deeper banks are best. Some good ones coming on spinner bait and rattle traps in backs of bays. When the Oak leaves are the size of a squirrel's ear, that's the best time for shallow spinners. That will be soon.
Got plenty of good dates available for June Crappie & Bass. Call 877-354-6017 or email to book.
See ya on the water.
Captain Kirk, out!
