Memorial Day weekend is an exciting fishing time here on Kentucky Lake. The deeper "ledge fishing" is normally really getting good and it has! Check out recent pics on my "Pictures" webpage.
With recent cooler temps and generous rains, the deeper bank fishing has been real good. There are large numbers of fish "frye" (this year's hatch) along deeper rocky banks and around brush piles. The Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, and Catfishing is good.

BASS
Catching good numbers of both Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass along deeper rocky banks and on deep ledges. Small crawfish imitations will catch 'em on the bank. Jigs, swimbaits, and large worms will catch 'em on the ledges.

CRAPPIE
Drop-shotting a small minnow around stumps in 10' to 20' of water is productive for Crappie right now.

BLUEGILL
Fishing gravel points 4' to 8' deep with "Bluegill Bugs" has been producing some real nice fish.

CATFISH
Channel Cats seem to be a little everywhere. Fish a night crawler 4' to 20' deep on rocky banks for good action.

Hope everyone has a safe, enjoyable Memorial Weekend. A special thanks to our military veterans who have given so we can enjoy our American way of life.

I have a few good dates available for June. If interested, give me a call at 877-354-6017 or 270-354-6017.
