Captain Kirk,
I wanted to thank you again for a very memorable day of consistently catching fish. I have to admit that I was not very optimistic due to the weather reports, but man was I wrong! The weather cooperated and you put us on a spot where I caught the biggest crappie I have ever seen on my second cast, not to mention all of the other fish we caught. It got even better when you took us to another spot. We pulled up to the spot and you said that you can see a big ol bass on your sonar. Sure enough, on his very first cast, my dad catches a 4.5 lbs smallmouth bass. Minutes later, my brother catches the biggest crappie of his life (I have to admit that it was even bigger than mine). Then, my dad's pole bends over double again and he pulls in the biggest smallmouth he's ever caught, a 5.5 pounder!! I grew up fishing with my dad, and I can not think of a better way to spend his last day in the States before leaving for an overseas job. When I am up that way again, I will definitely be giving you a call to set up another trip. By the way, I would greatly appreciate it if you e-mail me the pictures you took. Taking those pictures is just another great thing of the many you do for the people that share your boat with you. Take care and all the best to you and your family.
Thanks Again,
Fred Riggs |

Kirk and Julie,
Hope you are well and getting better. My dad and I could not have had a better time on our trip up there. We had a great time when we were on the water with you Kirk. You gave us the best information and showed us how and where to fish for the big ones. Thanks for making a special time with my dad even better.
Julie, thank you for your part in all of this too. You kept us informed and gave great advice when we requested it. You both do a wonderful job for your clients and helped make our trip more enjoyable.
If you could, please email me some of the pictures that Kirk took of us that day we were with him. We would both greatly appreciate it.
We are thinking about coming back up there in the fall of 2008 so we will schedule a trip with you as soon as we have a date in mind.
Thanks,
Jimmy Stephens

TO: KIRK WEBER
RE: 3/23 & 3/24 TRIP
OVER THE PAST THREE YEARS WE HAVE SCHEDULED A TRIP WITH YOU EVERY SPRING TO SEE IF WE CAN GET IN ON THE "SPRING CRAPPIE RUN" AND NEVER ONCE HAVE WE EVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED WITH THE RESULTS. ALTHOUGH "MOTHER NATURE" HAS GIVEN US SOME FITS, YOU NEVER EVER GAVE UP AND EACH YEAR PRIOR WE HAVE LEFT KY. LAKE FEELING GREAT ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE WE HAD WITH YOU ON THE WATER. BUT THIS YEAR THE "GOOD LORD & MOTHER NATURE" GOT TOGETHER AND GAVE US TWO FABULOUS DAYS. THE WEATHER WAS GREAT,THE FISHING WAS EVEN BETTER.
LOGAN AND I HAVE A BLAST WITH YOU EVERY YEAR AND AFTER TWO DAYS WITH YOU EVERY YEAR IT NEARLY FEELS LIKE FAMILY AND THAT CREDIT GOES TO YOU AND THE WAY YOU AND JULIE HAVE ALWAYS TREATED US.
I KNOW AS LONG AS I CAN, MY SON AND I WILL CONTINUE TO MAKE THIS TRADITION A TRADITION WE WILL CONTINUE TO DO AS LONG AS YOU ARE THERE AND WE CAN GET THE DAYS TOGETHER TO DO THIS.
WE ARE SO GLAD FATE ALLOWED US TO FIND YOU THREE YEARS AGO. I CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE WITHOUT YOU IN THE BOAT FOR THOSE TWO DAYS OF FISHING.
KIRK, THANKS FOR THE BEST TRIP EVER AND I ALREADY EMAILED JULIE WITH DATES FOR 2008.
GOD BLESS YOU, JULIE AND JESSE, STAY SAFE AND HAVE A VERY GOOD YEAR.

Captain Kirk
Anyone can catch crappie when all the conditions are great and this fishing trip with you was just the opposite. The air temperture was colder than the water temp, but then that's why we have layers of clothes. The real problem was Kentucky Dam decided to drop the water one foot in a single day. Crappie really hate that.
With all the bad conditions I'm amazed we caught fish. Catching 40 crappie was great even though a lot of them were a half inch short and tossed back.
The "slab" crappie we did catch made up for the crappie tossed back. I also enjoyed catching large month bass on light tackle then releasing them for another day. The twenty yellow bass we caught will also be great eating. I always appreciate the fishing knowledge you share with me, so thanks again for another great trip.
Look forward to catching a cooler full of blue gill this summer. That's good eating and great fun.
Thanks for another great trip |

Had a great productive day Crappie fishing Sept. 25th. I've told the story a dozen times how at the end of the day you spotted a school of large and Smallmouth Bass feeding in the middle of the lake. In the next hour the three of us caught 20 bass between 3 and 5 lbs. The highlight of the hour was you netting Rich's 4 lb smallie and at the same time my two 3 lb largemouth on the same crank bait. It seems like every trip is better than the last! You had better start thinking what you're going to do next March to top this. Thanks again, Denny.

| Just a quick note on how great a time we had with Kirk yesterday. We had never fished on Kentucky lake, and Kirk made it an awesome time. We caught plenty of fish, but it was the teaching that Kirk did with both of us, as well as the camaraderie that we experienced that was awesome. Kirk turned a wonderful day into one that we will never forget. I have already begun to plan a trip for next spring with Kirk. This time I think my wife and I will be coming back. Thanks again, and wow what fun we had. |

Dear Kirk,
Just a few lines to thank-you for our recent fishing adventure with you. It was 33 years since my wife, Gladys was last fishing with me. She had a great time and has started to tell bigger fishing stories then me. You were always so patient when you fished with my children and this time it was extended to their mother.
You and I have fished together many times in the past 12 years. It always has been quality time spent with a friend.
Thanks again,
Mark and Gladys Miglin
PS Yes, Gladys with be coming with us the next time.

Captin Kirk,
Thank you for the wonderful time fishing. My son and I looked so forward to fishing with you since last year's visit.
We would recommend you to anyone and everyone we know. I can't believe how many Catfish we caught when we were there and the catfish over 14 pounds will be a memory my son will never forget!
My boyfriend, Joe is an avid fisherman and I'll have to say he was hesitant to go with a guide.. but he was even impressed with the fish we brought back..here is the pic we promised to send you...and believe me when I tell you.. I'll be sending these
pictures to all my friends also.
Looking forward to our next visit,
Bernice, Nick and Joe |

Dear Captain Kirk,
Thank you so much for the time and instructions you gave us on our fishing trip. We had a truly unforgettable time and we are still telling people about the fish we caught. Thank you so much!! We will hopefully get to come and fish with you again in the near future.
P.S. Please tell your wife thank you for helping us book our trip with you. |

Kirk:
Just wanted to drop a quick line to let you know that we really enjoyed the day with you. As soon as we started catching those white bass, the fact that it was 94 degrees didn't seem to bother us anymore. My son Caleb said he had the, "best fishing trip of his life." I guess him saying that made it my best as well!
I'm sure that we'll plan to come see you again soon, may even become a father/son tradition for us to come fish with you! I appreciate your dilligence in finding the fish, and your effort to make this Caleb's best fishing trip YET! I'm sure we'll build more memories aboard your boat in the future! I considered your fee to be a great investment in an afternoon my son and I will never forget!
I pray that God will continue to bless your business, as you give people a great opportunity to leave all the stress of their lives behind...and just enjoy the fellowship and fun of catching a BUNCH of fish!
Best Wishes and Gratitude:

Julie & Kirk,
Jake and I just wanted to tell you guys thanks for one of the best trips I could have had. It's always fun for me to spend time with my kids and you two made a great trip for us. Even though the weather wasn't the best during the morning hours Kirk, you made us feel at home and we would have had fun reguardless of how many fish we caught.
Jake doesn't say much even around me, but he's stated several times how much fun he had and keeps asking when we can go back!!!
Julie, sorry for keeping Kirk out so late Sunday evening. Just wanted you to know that he went well above and beyond trying to get us on some fish. It's not what or how much fish you catch, it's the company your in when you catch them, that's what we will remember.
Once I figure out what's going on this fall at work I want to schedule another trip with you guys and suprise my son for his birthday, but I'll have as much or more fun than he will....HA!!!
Thanks again for making this one of our best fishing trips.

Dear Captain Kirk & Julie
While I was working long hard hours at my seasonal job in August through
October, my wife received your e-mail on the Fall Fishing Special.
She knows how much I enjoy fishing with you, so she arranged for a surprise
fishing trip as a present for our anniversary in November. Is that a great
wife or what!
Boy was I surprised, and knowing the trip was coming helped keep me going
all those long hours.
The November weather wasn't bad, just colder than my June trip. I just
dressed warm and boy did we catch the fish, lots of crappies and some
yellows.
It was a great 2 day trip and will hold me over until next June.
I'm telling all my friends about you, and so is Tom, my friend who came with
me on this trip. So don't be surprised if your client list from Illinois
gets bigger.
Thanks for another great fishing experience Kirk.

Dear Captain Kirk,
The earth's surface is 3/4 water and 1/4 land. It's obvious that God intended man to spend triple the time fishing than doing yard work. Now if we can only convince my wife of this fine logic, I’ll be set. Any tips? I have used you as guide every year for the past 4 years and I have never been disappointed. I would never consider using anyone else. Door to door you are all about the fish. This was the first year I took my boys along on your boat and I must say you handled them very well. Being it was their first serious fishing expedition, it was important to me that they have a positive experience and you delivered. It’s all they talk about. I would highly recommend your service to anybody looking for a guide.
A reel satisfied customer!

Dear Capt. Kirk and Julie:
What a trip! We could not have asked for a better day and half than we got under the capable guidance of Captain Kirk. Months ago, when I was planning a fishing trip without the first idea of what I was doing, I turned to an online fishing forum for advice. An anonymous sage wrote: “Hire a guide so you and your son can concentrate on having fun and making memories.” That’s what we did, and Capt. Kirk provided the fishing that guaranteed the memories. We’re already making plans for next year.
Thanks, too, for the recommendation on Lodging. Perfect accommodations, great food, and incredibly nice folks.
We’ll spread the word about the great fishing to be found on Kentucky Lake, particularly under the experienced eye of Capt. Kirk Weber!
All the best,
Jim Kennedy
P.S. Thanks for sending the pics. |

If you are coming to Kentucky Lake to fish, then you need to start by hiring Kirk Weber as your guide. Captain Kirk has helped me plan a First Class trip, start to finish. First, he helped me find a great place to stay. Second, his knowledge of Kentucky Lake is unmatched. We caught countless fish that consisted of several species from Largemouth Bass, Sauger, Smallmouth Bass, and even a Flathead Catfish. I have booked numerous guided trips in several states, but no guide has worked harder to make sure I had a good time and that I caught good numbers of nice fish. Just to show you what I mean, I was traveling by myself and when Captain Kirk found this out, he invited me to join his family for dinner. That is customer service. My guided trips have consisted of visits to just about every Midwest state and Captain Kirk is the best guide in the Midwest. If you need further convincing, please contact Captain Kirk Weber and he will give you my contact information and I will talk to you personally. If you want a great fishing experience you only need to know two words: Captain Kirk.

Hi Julie, Kirk and family
I am already dreaming of next years trip.
Last year was my first time out with a guide for only one day with Kirk. We caught lots of fish. Nothing really big but it sure made me want more for the next trip.
This year I scheduled four days. Two were just me and Kirk, and on the other two days a friend of mine joined us. It was great. We caught lots of fish - small and large mouth bass, perch, sauger, and striper. I had never fished for striper before - they were some of the biggest fish I have caught.
We kept plenty and had some great meals, but a lot we chose to catch and release so other sportsmen could have the same thrill of the catch. Kirk suggested one of the small mouths should be mounted, but I let it go too. Maybe it will end up on someone else's wall.
I've already scheduled 7 days for next year, and I would encourage anyone looking for a really great guide to call the Captain. One day or a week, you will have the time of your life.
I'm from Central Illinois and the southern hospitality of this area is an enjoyable change of pace. Kirk makes you feel like he has known you for a long time right from the first day you meet.
I'll see you next May Kirk, can't wait for another week of fishing fun. And maybe next year Julie, we will get to meet you in person. All the e-mails for planning this year, I feel like I know you as well as Kirk
You are all great!

Hey Kirk, Julie and Jesse
I just wanted to say thanks for an outstanding day fishing. My stepson Kevin and I had one of the best fishing days I have ever had-60 crappie and 3 yellow bass. I've caught more fish, but not had that much fun, and that was the most fish Kevin has ever caught.
Kirk, I would recommend you to anyone who wants to catch fish of any type. You are one of the hardest working guides I have ever been with. You know Kentucky lake extremly well and Crappie even better. Fishing with you has given me good knowledge about the lake and Crappie that I will use for the rest of my life.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Thank You So Much
Ken Hamm
P.S. Thanks Julie for the lucky floating sports balls we had in the boat. I will have to buy me one to carry in the boat. |

Hello Kirk, Julie and Jesse C,
Believe it or not Tim and I have been going to Kentucky Lake for the past 8 or 9 years. The main reason for returning to Kentucky Lake was the fishing and that is due to the fact we have Captain Kirk as our fishing guide. We started out hiring Captain Kirk for just a couple days and that wasn't enough so we would hire him for the week. Captain Kirk's knowledge of Kentucky Lake is amazing. He definitely will find you fish to catch. We guarantee you will have a great time on Captain Kirk's boat! He is truly a professional. More great fishing to come in the future with "The Captain"! HAVE FUN!
Sincerely,
Lynne and Tim Graunke |

Just wanted to drop you a note to say what a great time we had with you again this year. The weather wasn't the best with that cold North wind whipping it up again, but as usual you came through and put us on fish most of the day. We've really come to respect your catch and release policy on the Smallies and Largemouth, and I'm glad to see you've had that same influence on our daughter. Your exceptional service and knowledge are by far superior to the other guides we've tried. We feel we've found the best Kentucky Lake has to offer, so why bother looking for someone else? Thanks for 10 years of great fishing and great friendship.

Dear Kirk,
I want to thank you for a fantastic fishing trip last June. You consistently put me on the Bass, and gave me the chance for lively action and big fish. The result was we caught a lot of keepers. I appreciated your excellent knowledge of the lake, practice of catch and release and professional and safe boat handling. Rest assurred, I will schedule a future trip with you.

Dear Kirk,
I just wanted you to know what a great time I had fishing with you in April, 2004. You are the best guide on Kentucky Lake. I will recommend you to anyone who wants to experience the "fishing trip of a lifetime". You have been my fishing guide for the last six years, and my family agrees with me that you are the best. Although they were not able to come with me this year, they are looking forward to our trip next year.
Thank you

Having been on the Bassn'Gal circuit and now the Women's Bass Fishing Association circuit for the past 15 years, I have had the opportunity to fish with many guides on many lakes. My concerns with hiring a guide is that they be knowledgable, courteous, timely, have good equipment, and willing to share many of the little things about the body of water I am fishing that will make that extra difference in helping me win or place.
Capt. Kirk has shown me to have these abilities and more. I have used him numerous times with success and have recommended him to many of my friends who have also had excellent results in fishing tournaments.
Your money and time will be well spent with Capt. Kirk.
Sincerely,
