CAPTAIN'S LOG

Air Temperature: Low 49 High 63
Water Temperature: Low 44.5 High 45.5
Water Elevation: 355' ( 354' Winter pool)
Water Clarity: 1' visibility (little dirty)

We are experiencing one of those February warm spells. Seems like spring is here but I know better. I've fished the last two days and have found the Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, and Yellow Stripes are HUNGRY!

LARGEMOUTH BASS
Alabama Rig, jigs, drop shot, crankbaits, and jerkbaits are all productive. Fish deeper rocky banks and ledges and points out of the current and slow presentations.

CRAPPIE
Catching Crappie 10' to 20' deep around brush piles. Vertical fishing and casting 1/16 oz jigs. A chartruese 2" tube is working.

I'll be fishing more and more in the near future. I'll try and keep you posted.
