The catching of Bass and Crappie has improved significantly in the past couple of days. I’ve seen some good numbers of Crappie being cleaned at the cleaning station and I heard there were 5 20lb+ bags of bass weighed at Saturday’s tournaments. I’ve caught fish deep, medium and shallow the past couple days but the biggest change I’ve seen is that each day more fish are coming shallow. This should hold up so long as our warm trend continues.

BASS
Jerk baits, small crank baits, and jigs are all producing. Shallow wood on secondary points in bays would be a good pattern.

CRAPPIE
Jigs and minnows are producing good catches. Fish both shallow and deep around brush.

BLUEGILL
Fish 18ft deep along secondary channel with wax worms for good action.
