Air Temp: Low 43 / High 68
Water Temp: 55 degrees
Water Elevation: 357 (2 ft from Summer Pool)

Hopefully the weatherman is correct and we’ll start regaining some of the 15 degrees in water temp we’ve lost in the past couple weeks. The last few days I’ve had to fish 18’ to 27’ deep to find a consistent bite.

CRAPPIE:
Action has slowed but still catching some quality fish on minnows and white curly tails fished 12’ to 25’ deep around brush.

BASS:
I’ve been catching some bass deep while Crappie fishing. Fish a 3/32 oz spot remover jig with a watermelon purple finesse worm around brush in the middle of the creek channel. I’ve caught some chunky bass as deep as 27’. I hear fish are being caught on jerk baits, Carolina and Texas rigged plastics and jig & pig combos. Try deeper chunk rock banks (8’ to 12’ deep).

Capt Kirk, Out!
